Abstract

The study of urban and residential development in Thai-Malaysia Border Area aims to analyze the potential of the area and the use of land for management planning in the area including of a study of the model and process of urban development in the dimension of appropriate housing and providing economic development, residential development and preserving the cultural heritage of the area. It can also be integrated in a consistent way. There are guidelines and goals to develop as a living city in the future by presenting the characteristics of a community plan that is designed to reach the needs of the people in communities and to guideline for the allocation of land. Moreover, there are the preparation of policy proposals and strategies for urban development as a whole
