Abstract

The article on the propagation of Buddhism by the Thai Mission in the ASEAN Community Mixed methods. The purpose is 1) to study the propagation of Buddhism.
2) to study the factors that are related to the propagation of Buddhism of the Dharma to the ASEAN community. There were 30 in-depth interviews, 306 questionnaires / person.

          The research found that

          1) The results of in-depth interviews revealed that the propagation of Buddhism by Thai missionaries in the ASEAN community. There was a planned meeting by the Foreign Missions Administration. The goal is to spread Buddhism in the ASEAN community. And set the vision of spreading Buddhism in full and consistent with the propagation of Buddhism in the past and present. Follow up and evaluate the propagation of Buddhism. Continuous monitoring and evaluation of the strategy. There are systems and mechanisms for monitoring and evaluation through the increased number of evangelists. The number of people who are interested in Buddhism increases. And the results of analyzing the propagation of Buddhism of the Thai Mission in the ASEAN community. The overall level is very high. By planning the most operations. The average was 4.39 at the high level, followed by the plan implementation. The average was 4.25 at the high level. The mean and standard deviation were 4.24 and 4.24 respectively.

          2) The analysis of factors related to the propagation of Buddhism by the Dharma ambassadors in the ASEAN community consisted of the principles of organization, personnel and budget. Using Pearson's product moment correlation coefficient (r) and p-value, Positively correlated with the opinions about the propagation of Buddhism to the ASEAN Community (R = 0.803, P-Value = 0.000)
