Abstract

ABSTRACT

The objectives of this research are: 1.To study the general condition of The development for driven mechanism in the communities    preserving Five Precepts of Sangha in Chiang Mai  province . 2. To study the process of The development for driven mechanism in the communities    preserving Five Precepts of Sangha in Chiang Mai  province. 3. To present the development for driven mechanism in the communities    preserving Five Precepts of Sangha in Chiang Mai  province.The method is a mixed method research consisted of qualitative research and quantitative research. The population is Sangha and people who participated in the village project sustain five precepts in Chiang Mai Province.The researcher selected the purposive sampling group was the members participated the village project sustains five precepts total 400 persons and the key informants were divided into 2 groups as follows; 1.The key informants defined indicator to be the level of individuals, organizations and communities of sustaining five precepts in the village project five precepts of Sangha in Chiang Mai Province total 37 persons and 2. Participants of the Focus Group Discussion for brainstorming, confirming and evaluating the quality indicators at the individual, organization and community level of sustaining five precepts in the village project sustains five precepts of Sangha in Chiang Mai Province consisting of Phra Thera, academicians, experts, community leaders, organization leaders total 12 persons. By analyzing and synthesizing the information obtained from the study of documents uses the content analysis method to present the data by descriptive method. Summary of problems and suggestions from focus group discussion analyzed and synthesized before processing and creating the next format.

Research result:

  1. The general conditions of The development for driven mechanism in the communities preserving Five Precepts of Sangha in Chiang Mai province found that the mechanism and the process of the driving of the village project sustains five precepts of Sangha in Chiang Mai Province in each area has the management of workers with the highest mean (  = 3.91) which is at a high level and the second is the process of the management and the control with an average (  = 3.66) at a high level and the financial management has the lowest mean (  = 3.30) at a moderate level.
  2. The process of The development for driven mechanism in the communities preserving Five Precepts of Sangha in Chiang Mai province showed that there is to separate a managing style of works and spread an ideology of Buddhism principles to Buddhists by creating the understanding. There is to create a network group to see the importance of Buddhism principles with participatory works by making a memorandum of an agreement with the local government agencies and there is a role to participate and support activities of the village project sustains five precepts to achieve the next goal.
  3. The development for driven mechanism in the communities preserving Five Precepts of Sangha in Chiang Mai province found that in various departments that work together in the system or organizations have accomplished the work well. The systems or organizations have people at different levels can work together as a machine and any systems will help the work to be accomplished by individuals, groups and communities by bringing the principles of Buddhism to show the concept of the precepts and the coexistence in a society that causes the peace of the community society and being self-developed according to the threefold principles name a canon, a meditation and a wit which five precepts are a way of peace.
