The development of legal knowledge for the benefit of the community in term of the management of debt problems for the people

Abstract

The development of legal knowledge related to the household debt in order to benefit the community in terms of the management of the debt problems, create community leaders, and monitor the use of legal knowledge in managing or solving or debt problems of the local people is very important. The research project found that development of legal knowledge related to debt, which was conducted by the participation of community leaders in this local area as well as using practical problems such as a case study, would contribute to the access in laws and the development of law in a way that is suitable for community leaders, who often need to understand the laws and constantly improve their understanding of the law. Community leaders must be aware of the legal consequences arising from over whelming debt, default of debt payment, and interest rate of the loan debt. They must realize the advantages of drafting the loan agreement correctly and the importance of the development of legal knowledge for the benefit of managing the debt problem for the people in this area. This would result in the improvement of the legal knowledge related to the debt problems of the people such as the law relating to the loan of money, interests, fines, suretyship, mortgage, debt collection and law relating to debt obligation. In order to solve the debt problems in an effective and sustainable way, it is necessary to have a proper understanding of the financial literacy and the money management, while at the same time relying on the concept of fourfold division of money, the concept of sufficiency economy and the use of household accounting to solve the debt problems together with the development of legal knowledge for the people in one particular area. After the development of legal knowledge, the result would be the increasing numbers of the community leaders who have sufficient legal knowledge and capacities to manage the village funds or apple such knowledge in the implementation of the village funds more efficiently. This has also created the community leaders who are more trustworthy and reliable for the local people in the area. These community leaders also use such legal knowledge to practice and educate the local people about the debt management in order to solve the debt problems in an appropriate manner, and should prepare a guideline or other media simplification for knowledge in the field of financial
