บทคัดย่อ

ญี่ปุ่นก้าวเข้าสู่สมัยโชวะในปี ค.ศ.1926 ตลอดระยะเวลา 60 กว่าปีนั้น ญี่ปุ่นได้เผชิญกับเหตุการณ์ครั้งสำคัญมากมาย หนึ่งในนั้นคือเหตุการณ์สงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 ในผลงานเรื่อง ฝนดำ ของอิบุเซะ มาซึจิ สะท้อนให้เราเห็นภาพสังคมญี่ปุ่น การดำรงชีวิตย่างแร้นแค้นของผู้คนระหว่างสงคราม ส่วนในเรื่อง อาทิตย์ลับฟ้า ของ ดาไซ โอซามุ กล่าวถึงการล่มสลายของชนชั้นผู้ดีอันเป็นผลพวงมาจากสงคราม ทั้งสองเรื่องมีลักษณะเหมือนกันคือการบรรยายภาพความเลวร้ายของสงคราม สิ่งที่ผู้เขียนต้องการเสนอคือสงครามนำมาแต่ความพินาศย่อยยับแก่ผู้เกี่ยว ข้องเพียงอย่างเดียว โดยนำเสนอผ่านชะตากรรมของตัวละครที่จบลงแบบโศกนาฏกรรม

The Shōwa period in Japan began from 1926. During the 60 years of this period, Japan had experienced many significant incidents. One of the most remarkable events was the second World War. In Black Rain, by Ibuse Masuji tells the story about Japanese society and people who were struggling for existence through the hard times of war. The Setting Sun by Dazai Osamu gives us the disintegration of an Japanese portrayal aristocratic family after World War II. Both of these works want to show us the destructive effects of the war by telling the story of the tragic fate of the protagonists who used to be the victims of war.
