Abstract

This study is a qualitative research that aims to propose the recommendation of the asset information management, Khon Kaen University. The in-depth interview was used to board, supplies officers, and stakeholders. The participant observation was utilized to document and related regulations. In order to realize with the current and future state of asset information management, the data were analyzed by SWOT Analysis to find the strengths, weak points, chance, obstructions and Force-Field Theory of Change was also used to analyze the data. To propose the asset information management trails, Khon Kaen University using change management framework. The result found that factors which were the supportive thrust effect changes consisted of 4 issues were 1) University Policy and working process did not define in the same standard, 2) information system is somewhat complex. 3) Communication did not have the same standard. 4) Human resources working followed the former undertaker and did not truly understand in the asset information management including with verifying the information from the parcel undertakers and accountant undertakers. According to the results, to change management of university’s asset information management trails by 1) define policy and working process in the same standard 2) convey to understand with board in the faculty and sectors, officers 3) development of potential in human resources, working training to understand the change trails and realize the as is and to be of asset information management 4) continuous thinking process and search report monthly, every quarters, and annually for cumulating of change management of university’s asset information management to be more effective.
