Abstract

This research aimed to study the relationship between internal factors and external factors that influenced on the quantity of Thai Jasmine Rice export to global market. The population used in this research was numerical data with statistical values from 2013 to 2016 of the independent variables of both internal and external factors. The statistics applied in this study were Regression Analysis and Correlation. The results showed that Domestic factors included the quantity of jasmine rice produced in Thailand and export price (F.O.B), and the external factors were foreign exchange rate, export volume from competitor countries, quantity of jasmine rice imported from the world market, consumption of jasmine rice by people around the world. These factors had various influences on Thai jasmine rice exportation to the world markets, and the variables in each factor were related to the quantity of Thai jasmine rice exported in the year 2012-2016.
