The Relationship between Operating Factors and Expenditure of Manufacturing Business in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Surat Thani Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study: operation features and expenditure of manufacturing business, comparing expenditure of manufacturing business in perspective of organizational factors, and relationship between operational features and expenditure of manufacturing business small and medium enterprises in Suratthani province. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data were collected from population of 137 entrepreneurs of small and medium enterprises in Suratthani province. Overall reliability coefficient of 0.87. The data were analysed by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, one-way analysis of variance, by using statistics paired comparisons t-test, F-test and Pearson’s correlation coefficient. The results should that operations features and expenditure of manufacturing business province in overall had high level, comparing expenditure of manufacturing business in perspective of organizational factors, overall had no difference significance at the 0.05 level andthe relationship between operating factors and expenditure of manufacturing business in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Suratthani. Overall the relationship was positively correlated at a relatively high level.
