Caring of the older persons in aging society

Abstract

Thailand is encountering the changes of population situation as happened worldwide, entering of aging society. It was estimated that Thailand will complete aged society in the year 2021. This change is a result of enormous decreasing number of fertility and longer life expectancy. Participation of all parties is crucial to effectively engage in aged society by preparations of personnel and systemic management including strengthen of family system and community system to prolong family period of elders and being self-care, including updating of data-based of aging population to close follow up and provide thoroughly help needed.
