The purpose of this experimental research was to study the effect of multicolour protector cloth to coop-erative behavior toddler childhood patient received intravenous therapy. Toddler childhood patient age 2-3 years amount 70 persons are selected by using simple random sample. The control group amount 35 persons are splint of intravenous site by general care. The experimental group amount 35 persons are splint of intravenous site by multicolour protector cloth. Instruments consisted of multicolour protector cloth. It uses for splint on the position of intravenous infusion with a nice form and beautiful color for positive reinforcement according to the Skinner’s theory of behavior modification. The instruments is developed, test and develop until it can be used on ward. The cooperative behavior observation of toddler childhood patient who receive intravenous therapy are examined the quality from 3 experts and validity test by using the alpha coefficient has reliability 0.87. Data analyze by repeated measure ANOVA. The result of this research found that cooperative behavior experimental group significantly better than control group (F=6.65, p< .05).Downloads
