The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of a multimedia teaching method of a snakebite first aid program on knowledge of snakebite among bachelor students in China. The study group was bachelor students in Baise University, China. The duration was from January to March, 2019. Sixty samples were recruited by purposive sampling and divided into two groups. Students in control group received general lecture. While students in experimental group received a multimedia teaching method of snakebite first aid program. Demographic data, snakebite knowledge were collected by questionnaire. All data was analyzed by using inferential statistics for frequency, percentage, chi-square, paired t-test and independent t-test. The results revealed that snakebite knowledge score between two groups was significantly different (P<.05) after experiment. The results of this study showed that the multimedia teaching method of a snakebite first aid program is effective enough to improve snakebite knowledge in bachelor students. Therefore, the multimedia teaching method of a snakebite first aid program was suggested to be a possible effective intervention to help bachelor students get increases in snakebite knowledge.
