Abstract

A quasi-experimental research was carried out to examine the effect of self-regulation with flexercise program on blood glucose level and insulin requirement in women with gestational diabetes mellitus type A2. The sample consisted of 50 pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus who were recruited from the prenatal clinic at Surattani Hospital in Surattani, Thailand. Results of this study indicated that after the experiment was completed, the experiment group showed the lower level of blood sugar than before the experiment with the significant level of 0.05 . However blood sugar levels and insulin requirement in the experimental group was not significant lower than the control group.
