Health information seeking behavior of Thai: A case study in Khon Kaen province

This survey research study aims to describe health information seeking behaviors of people in Khon Kaen province. Subjects were 610 people who lived either in municipal or outside municipal areas. Data collection instrument was Health Information Seeking Behaviors Survey. Chi-square was use for data analysis. The results showed that the top three health information that the subjects sought including exercise, healthy nutrition, and general health promotion (respectively). The top three sources of health information that most subjects used including TV, family members, and health personals. In order to develop health promotion innovation, TV and internet are recommended as a source of health information.Downloads
