Parent’s Knowledge, Attitude and Practice to Nutritional Status in Preschool Children in Child Development Centers, Mueang District, Phayao Province

This descriptive research aim to examine the nutritional status of preschool children and Parent’s knowlege, attitude and practice in consuming food in preschool children were 350 caregivers. The data-collecting instruments. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics namely frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. It was found that underweight, overweight, Stunting and tall in children were 7.1%, 4.3%, 13.1% and 3.1% respectively, and obesity more than thin in children. Parents had an overall score for knowledge nutrition status at a high moderate level, the score for attitude was at a high level, and the score for was at a moderate level. For nurses, teachers or parents to take care of the child development center in the promotion of nutritional status in children.
