Nurse and the disclosure of patients’ health personal information

Patients’ health personal information is the personal information which is recorded in a nurse’s note and a medical record. It is personally confidential.The patients’ health personal information is disclosed by nurse when receiving information owner’s consent or it is otherwise specified by law. Nurse is liable for the disclosure of confidentiality must be punished or fined, or both, and liable for professional misconduct for instance admonished, or paroled, or holded a nursing professional license, or withdrawed a nursing professional license if it is disclosed without receiving information owner’s consent or it is otherwise specified by law. So nurses should understand their roles in the patients’ confidentiality, provide nursing care in accordance with ethical principles of nursing.
