The emergency nurse practitioner with emergency resuscitation of trauma patients in pre hospital phase
Abstract
The emergency nurse practitioner plays an important role in saving the lives of emergency resuscitation trauma patients at the pre-hospital phase. These patients often have life threatening conditions that need proper, rapid assessment and management to preserve their blood supply and oxygenation of the vital organs, especially of the brain and the heart. The severity of their injuries can be aggravated by delayed assessment and management, which can be the cause of immediate or early death at pre hospital phase death. Therefore, the emergency nurse practitioner must assess and handle the dangerous conditions of trauma patients rapidly and with proper skill in order to reduce the mortality rate of emergency resuscitation trauma patients.
