Abstract

          The problems of drug use in the elderly often encounter more than the general people. Due to physiological changes in the way that deteriorate. As a result, the elderly have many disease. They were treated with several drugs can adversely affect the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. The potential for food drug interaction, including drug absorption is increased or decreased, impact on metabolic drug metabolism, impact of drug action, affect the toxicity of the drug and affect the drug excretion. So nurses should use the nursing process in the drugs administration to prevent the interaction between food drug interaction in the elderly.
