Causal Factors in Intercultural Communication Affecting the Foreign Football Players’ Adjustment in Thailand League Footbal Club

Abstract

    The objectives of this study were to examine and developed a causal model and analyze the directly Indirect and total affect factors. This study also focused on testing demographic characteristics, communication skills, attitude toward Thai people, interpersonal communication and media usage behavior affecting the foreign footballers adaptation in football Thai league. The study was conducted with 299 Thailand League foreign footballers. Data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using Path analysis by Lisrel Model. The study found that. 1. Causal Factors Model affecting the developed foreign footballers in football Thai league was statistically consistent with the empirical data. 2. The factors that had positive direct effect affecting on the foreign footballers’ adjustment in football Thai league were demographic characteristics, communication skills and attitude toward Thai people were mean foreign football players who had various factors in high levels affecting in a high level of adjustment too.
