As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Criteria for Submission of Academic Article

Ph.D. in Social Sciences Journal has a policy to publicize 3 researches annually (Issue 1 January-April, issue 2 May-August and issue 3 September-December) with an objective to promote and publicize social sciences research and academic studies.

In submission of an article, an article must be in Thai or English only. The article submitted must not have been publicized or in a process of publicizing in any magazine or journal before.  The selection process is a blinded review evaluation. The article will be send to 3 expertreviewersfor review article.

Guidelines for writing academic article are as follows:

- Have clear issues or concepts, have correct, complete and modern academic contents.

- Analyze issues under academic principles, synthesize knowledge from various sources and present the knowledge or useful approach.

- Insert new knowledge or display academic vision of the author clearly and accurately.

- Research from reliable, up to date, and inclusive references.

- Present easy to understand and systematic information, in appropriate academic language.

Submission of the original article:

1. Setting of page: use font TH Sarabun New size 16 for all of the article, print on one page on size A4 paper, all margins are 1 inch (2.54 centimeter), put page number on the above right corner of the page, and the length of the article is 12-15 pages.

2. Title: both Thai and English, English title must be al in capital letters.

3. Author: must consist of name, last name, position, working unit, address, and email.

4. Text: use simple, clear and easy to understand language, consists of the followings:

4.1 Abstract: must be in both Thai and English, concluding completely main information of the article.

4.2 Keywords: in 3-5 words.

4.3 Introduction: explain the source and importance of the problems, objectives, definitions, limitations, expectations, hypotheses, concepts, theories, literature reviews and research framework.

4.4 Research Methodology: explain research procedure, population and sample group, tools, data gathering, research statistics, and data analysis.

4.5 Conclusion: present results of research in steps in conclusion.

4.6 Discussion: discuss results according to objectives or set hypotheses.

4.7 Recommendation: academic suggestions and recommendations for future research.

4.8 Reference: use APA Style (7th ed.) as follows:

4.8.1 Descending sorting:  Thai first from ก-ฮ, then English from A-Z.

4.8.2 Name(s) of author(s):  For Thai article, name – last name; for English article, last name and first letter of name’s abbreviation.

4.8.2 Year of publication:  Thai article use B.E., English article use A.D. in parentheses if the author is the same for many documents, publication years are sorted by ascending order.

4.8.3 Title use italic letters, in case the title is a sub-title in a book, specify “ใน or In” followed by author and book’s title.

4.8.4 Place of publication and printing press is a form of article type document in a book or a journal, specify the title of the article, name of journal, year, issue, and number of pages from the beginning to the end (in a text reference, specify only the pages used as reference).

4.8.5 Website reference, specify author, title, date, month, year of the find, and name of the Website.

5. Author must submission original manuscript on online system (Word file) to https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/phdssj

6. Publication Fees: If the manuscript is accepted to publish (Acceptance), the author must pay the Article Processing Charges (APC) by transfer to account name: Doctor of Philosophy in Social Sciences Association Ramkhamhaeng University, account number 020036297552, Government Savings Bank, Ramkhamhaeng branch.
