Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the objective is to study the guideline for development of the information service system of the Faculty of Law, Ramkhamhaeng University with mobile application; and to survey the opinion of undergraduates of the Faculty of Law on the requirement for use of the information service system of the Faculty of Law, Ramkhamhaeng University with mobile application. The questionnaire is used as research instrument and data is collected from samples which are 400 undergraduates of the Faculty of Law, Ramkhamhaeng University.


Findings of Research Results


1. Opinion of the Undergraduates for Development of the Information Service System of the Faculty of Law, Ramkhamhaeng University with Mobile Application. The finding indicated that most of undergraduates used Smartphone via Android OS Platform, required Menu in homepage of Mobile Application in the form of Tab Bar, displaying Logo of the Faculty of Law in the middle of the top position, light background color and color setting under content appropriateness.


2. Demographic Data of the First Year Undergraduates of the Faculty of Law. The undergraduates were mostly females. Most of them were aged below 20 years old. Most of them earned none of income. The highest level of education was high school education/vocational certificate level.


3. Mobile Application Usage Behavior of the First Year Undergraduate of the Faculty of Law. The finding indicated that the undergraduates maximally selected to use Smartphones and trusted on Android OS Platform. The purpose of Smartphone usage was maximally for studying support and time spending in use of Application in Smartphone was mostly 1-2 hours per time.


4. Information and Service Required for Recognition by the Undergraduates. Upon considering on individual item, The recognition on information of Descriptive Table, Examination Timetable (MorRor. 30). According to information and service of the Faculty of Law, the curriculum of the Faculty of Law was required for recognition by the undergraduates in maximum level.
