The research objectives are to provide recommendations for enhancing happiness level in the organization and investigate the influencing factors affecting happiness level in the organization. The research subjects are selected from the organizational members of a military unit. Regarding to qualifications of the research subjects, they are qualified in terms of seniority, competency, and work experience in the career path with exceptional contributions and have recently been promoted by their leaders to the top level of non-commissioned officers.
The findings indicate that there are three different main factors related to the level of happiness in the organization as follows: 1) personal factors, 2) work performance factors, and 3) family factors. Hence, in order to develop happiness level in the organization, it is important to take into consideration the happiness in work performance together with other organizational management strategies. In addition, the supervisor should consider the consequences that may have impacts on the feeling of the subordinates. Therefore, the supervisors should be aware of and understand the art of enhancing happiness in work performance of their subordinates.
