การพัฒนาสมรรถนะของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้านในการดำเนินงานสุขภาพจิตในชุมชน

Abstract

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาสมรรถนะที่จำเป็นของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้านในพื้นที่จังหวัดฉะเชิงเทรา ในการดำเนินงานสุขภาพจิตในชุมชน 2) พัฒนาหลักสูตรการฝึกอบรมสมรรถนะของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน ในการดำเนินงานสุขภาพจิตในชุมชน 3) เพื่อประเมินผลการทดลองใช้หลักสูตรการฝึกอบรม  การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยแบบผสมที่ใช้วิธีการวิจัย        เชิงปริมาณและการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวมรวมข้อมูลคือแบบวัดสมรรถนะของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน และได้รับกลับมาครบถ้วนสมบูรณ์ จำนวน  431 ชุด ตัวอย่างได้มาด้วยการสุ่มตัวอย่างหลายขั้นตอน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ t-test, ค่าเฉลี่ย, ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานและ ร้อยละ ส่วนข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพ เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยการสนทนากลุ่มกับผู้ให้ข้อมูลคนสำคัญ จำนวน 23 คน และใช้การวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) สมรรถนะของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้านจังหวัดฉะเชิงเทราที่ต้องพัฒนามีดังนี้ สมรรถนะหลัก ด้านความรู้ ( = 5.83, S.D.= 1.67)และความตระหนักในบทบาทหน้าที่เกี่ยวกับการดูแลช่วยเหลือผู้มีปัญหาทางสุขภาพจิต ( = 3.94, S.D.= 0.37) สมรรถนะเชิงเทคนิคในการให้การปรึกษา  การสอนสุขภาพจิตศึกษา และการใช้แบบประเมินทางสุขภาพจิต( = 3.51, S.D.= 0.37)สมรรถนะบริหาร เกี่ยวกับการทำงานเป็นทีม การมีภาวะผู้นำ การให้แรงจูงใจในการปฏิบัติงาน( = 3.77, S.D.= 0.36) 2) หลักสูตรเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้านในพื้นที่จังหวัดฉะเชิงเทรา โดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญมีความเหมาะสมในระดับมากที่สุด ( = 4.52, SD.= 0.19 ) และ 3) การประเมินผลการทดลองใช้หลักสูตร พบว่าภายหลังการทดลองใช้หลักสูตร  อาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน มีสมรรถนะหลัก สมรรถนะเชิงเทคนิคและสมรรถนะบริหารสูงขึ้น ทุกสมรรถนะอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05

A COMPETENCIES DEVELOPMENT OF THE VILLAGE HEALTH VOLUNTEERS ON  MENTAL HEALTH COMMUNITY OPERATION

ABSTRACT

The purposes of this study were to 1) the investigate essential competency of village health volunteers in carrying on mental health work in the communities in Chachoengsao province. 2) develop the curriculum used in the training of public health volunteers on proceeding mental health work in communities.3) evaluate the curriculum implementation. This study used mixed methodology of both quantitative research and  qualitative research. The tools used for data collection of the quantitative research were  431 capability test forms which were sent to village health volunteers. The sample was obtained by multi-stage random sampling. The tools used for data collection of qualitative research were group discussion with 23 keys informants. The statistics used for data analysis were t-test, means , standard deviation and percentage.

The research results were as follow:

Competencies of village health volunteers which should be develop were: Core

competency on knowledge( = 5.83, S.D.= 1.67 ) and realization about roles related to taking care of people who had mental health problems. (= 3.94, S.D.= 0.37 ) Technical competency in counseling,teaching in the field of mental health study , and the application of mental health test form. (= 3.51, S.D.= 0.37 ) Professional competency which consisted of teamwork ,leadership and, colleague motivating. (= 3.77, S.D.= 0.36 )

The curriculum used for the training of village health volunteers in Chachoengsao

province was appropriate at maximum level. (= 4.52, S.D.= 0.19 )

The results of experimenting the curriculum revealed that the overall competence

including core competency , technical competency and professional competency of every village health volunteers has significantly increased at the 0.05 level.
