Abstract

          การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาความพร้อมของพยาบาลสู่ความเป็นเลิศระดับสากล ในองค์การพยาบาลโรงพยาบาลตติยภูมิแห่งหนึ่งในกรุงเทพมหานคร และ 2) เสนอแนวทางการพัฒนาความพร้อมของพยาบาลสู่ความเป็นเลิศระดับสากล ตัวอย่างที่ศึกษาเป็นพยาบาลวิชาชีพ จำนวน 440 คน ประกอบด้วยหัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วย จำนวน 121 คน โดยศึกษาจากประชากรและพยาบาลระดับปฏิบัติการ โดยการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบแบ่งชั้น จำนวน 319 คน เครื่องมือการวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถาม มี 3 ตอน ได้แก่ 1) ข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล 2) ระดับความพร้อมของพยาบาล และ 3) แนวทางในการพัฒนาความพร้อม แบบสอบถามผู้วิจัยพัฒนาขึ้นเองผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงตามเนื้อหาโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญ 5 ท่าน ได้ค่าดัชนีความตรงตามเนื้อหาเท่ากับ .80 และความเที่ยงของแบบสอบถามมีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์อัลฟาของครอนบาคเท่ากับ .95 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลและความพร้อมของพยาบาลด้วยร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา

          ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1) ความพร้อมของพยาบาลสู่ความเป็นเลิศระดับสากล ในองค์การพยาบาลโรงพยาบาลตติยภูมิแห่งหนึ่งในกรุงเทพมหานครในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับสูง (\bar{x}=3.93, S.D.=.49) เมื่อพิจารณารายด้าน พบว่า ความพร้อมระดับสูง 3 อันดับแรก ได้แก่ ภาพลักษณ์ของการพยาบาล (\bar{x}=4.22, S.D.=.57) การพัฒนาวิชาชีพ (\bar{x}= 4.20, S.D.=.57) และสัมพันธภาพระหว่างสหวิชาชีพ (\bar{x}=4.09, S.D.=.56) ส่วนด้านนโยบายและการจัดโปรแกรมสำหรับบุคลากรอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (\bar{x}= 3.46, S.D.=.68) และ 2) แนวทางสำคัญในการพัฒนาความพร้อมของพยาบาลสู่ความเป็นเลิศระดับสากล คือ การพัฒนาความสามารถทางภาษาเพื่อการสื่อสารในระดับสากลและการเป็นองค์การเรียนรู้สู่สากล

 

 

 

PROFESSIONAL NURSES’S READINESS TOWARDS INTERNATIONAL NURSING SERVICE EXCELLENCE AT A TERTIARY HOSPITAL IN BANGKOK METROPOLITAN

 

 

Abstract

          The purposes of this descriptive study were: 1) to analyze the current situation of professional nurses’ readiness towards international nursing service excellence at a tertiary hospital in Bangkok Metropolitan, and 2) to develop the professional nurses’ readiness towards international nursing service excellence. The sample comprised 440 professional nurses, including 121 head nurses and 319 professional nurses who were selected by stratified random sampling. The research instruments were questionnaires and consisted of three parts: 1) demographic data, 2) level of the professional nurses’ readiness towards international nursing service excellence, and 3) guidelines on how to develop the professional nurses’ readiness towards international nursing service excellence. The validity of the instruments was verified by five experts and content validity index was .80. The Cronbach’s alpha reliability coefficient was .95, respectively. Research data were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.

          The research findings were as follows. 1) Professional nurses rated their current situation of readiness towards international nursing service excellence at a high level. (\bar{x}=3.93, S.D.=.49). The top three of their readiness were image of nursing (\bar{x}=4.22, S.D.=.57), professional development (\bar{x}=4.20, S.D.=.57), and interdisciplinary relationships (\bar{x}=4.09, S.D.=.56), whereas personnel policies and programs were at the medium level (\bar{x}=3.46, S.D.=.68). 2) The development of nurses’ ability to international communication and international learning organization is guideline to develop the professional nurses’ readiness towards international nursing service excellence.
