Abstract

The descriptive research aimed to investigate the learning outcome under the qualifications framework for higher education (TQF) in community nursing practicum subject. 102 purposive samples were the 4th year undergraduate nursing program of Nursing Faculty, Mahasarakham University. Data were collected by using the questionnaires of students’ opinions on their TQF competencies which including 1) ethics and moral, 2) knowledge, 3) cognitive skills, 4) interpersonal skills and responsibility, 5) numerical analysis, communication and information technology skills, and 6) professional practice skills. Data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test.

The result found that overall the TQF level of undergraduates were in rather high level. The highest average score was ethics and moral (gif.latex?\bar{x} =4.55, S.D.=.53), followed by interpersonal skills and responsibility (gif.latex?\bar{x} =4.49, S.D.=.64), professional practice skills (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.47, S.D.=.54), numerical analysis, communication and information technology skills (gif.latex?\bar{x} =4.49, S.D.=.60), cognitive skills (gif.latex?\bar{x} =4.44 S.D.=.65) and knowledge (gif.latex?\bar{x} =4.35, S.D.=.55). According to hypothesizes test, the learning outcome level post community Health Nursing Practice were significantly higher than before practicum (p<.05) and different area setting of practicum had not different the TQF level (p<.05).
