Abstract

Change management in the health service system is practiced. It is important for organizations to survive and move forward in a highly competitive world. Developing science and technology dramatically 9exponential) makes the organization unable to adapt suddenly and disruption occurs. The major health change trend is wellness. Therefore the search for patients at risk, disease preventing, diagnosing and treating diseases at the onset using technology and innovation have played an important role. Change management for a new dimension of service or extension the ‘New S-Curve’ is comprised of testing and crystallized management models: 1) 3 steps by Kurt Levin, and 2) 8-step change model of John Kotter. Moreover, the key to successful change is the leader’s attributes. This includes the ability of inspiration, trust, integrity, good governance, timely decision-making, decisiveness, engagement, and a sense of belonging to the people in the organization. This article aims to review key change management theories, trends of change management in healthcare business and present the real examples in the process of implementing them.
