BEHAVIORS REGARDING MOTORCYCLE SAFE UNDER THE LAW OF PRESCHOOL CHILDREN’S PARENTS, HUA HIN MUNICIPALITY PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN PROVINCE

Abstract

          This research aimed to 1) study the level behaviors regarding motorcycle safe under the law of preschool children’s parents, Hua Hin municipality Prachuap Khiri Khan province, and 2) study the relationship between accident behavior factors affecting the behaviors regarding motorcycle safe under the law of preschool children’s parents, Hua Hin municipality Prachuap Khiri Khan province. The samples were 130 participants from preschool children’s parents, Hua Hin municipality Prachuap Khiri Khan province. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Chi-square test, and multiple regression analysis.

          The results were as follows: 1) The preschool children’s parents, Hua Hin municipality Prachuap Khiri Khan province who answered the questionnaire were aged average 31-40 years, average education level was Bachelor’s degree, average income per month was between 10,001-20,000 Baht and average motorcycle driving experience was more than 7 years. 2) The level behaviors regarding motorcycle safe under the law of preschool children’s parents, Hua Hin municipality Prachuap Khiri Khan province were overall at the highest level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the highest level sorted in the following order: the drunk no drive, followed by the driving regarding speed limit, driving license, wearing a helmet. The driving regarding motorcycle safe was at a high level, respectively. 3) The level factors affecting accident behavior of preschool children’s parents, Hua Hin municipality Prachuap Khiri Khan province were overall at a highest level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the highest level sorted in the following order: attitude was followed by social norms, and awareness. The law enforcement was at a high level, respectively. 4) The personal factors were overall no relation to the behaviors regarding motorcycle safe under the law of preschool children’s parents, Hua Hin municipality Prachuap Khiri Khan province. 5) The factors affecting behaviors regarding motorcycle safe under the law of preschool children’s parents, Hua Hin municipality Prachuap Khiri Khan province were 3 factors include social norms, and law enforcement with statistical significance at the .001 level, as for the awareness law enforcement with statistical significance at the .01 level, respectively.
