Enhancing Efficiency and Reducing Restrictions on Informing Water Supply Interruption

Abstract

This research aims to study water supply interruption announcement to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce customer complaints. The sample consists of resident customers in urban area of Mansri Branch Office. Its area completes all plumbing of the main water supply area totally 216 residents. Besides, suburb area of Mahasawad Branch Office are in the progress of installing plumbing pipes of the main line to further expand the service areas totally 207 residents. As a result, its area is often affected by water interruption. The reserach collects data by questionnaires and analyzes by Mean, Standard Deviation, Percentage, t-test, and f-test.

The results of the research show that Mansri Branch’s customers need occurrence date, to be informed by village broadcasting, 3-4 days to be informed before water shortage and need to inform in 4 hours in Accidental case. Mahasawad Branch’s customers need contact number, to be informed by analog TV, few days to be informed before water shortage and need to inform in four hours in Accidental case.
