Abstract

This research aimed to 1) analyze technical efficiency 2) measure the efficiency values from the production scales and 3) analyze the amounts of appropriate production factors of every province in the North East of Thailand in 2015 using the Data Envelopment Analysis: DEA technique. The results showed that the 20 provinces in the North East region had the average overall efficiency (Global Technical Efficiency: CRS model) valued 0.904. The average of Pure Technical Efficiency (VRS model) valued 0.949 and the average of Scale Efficiency (SE model) was 0.950. The result showed eight provinces applied all 7 production factors which were above what is expected.
