Songklanakarin: Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities is Quarterly Thailand national jornal, published by Prince of Songkla University to promote and encourage the exchange of knowledge in the field of social sciences and humanities among national scholars and wordwide.
Contributions may be research articles, report of empirical studies, or review articles. Abstract of empirical studies, or review articles. Abstract of academic papers and books review are also exceptable. All articles are considered for publication in Songklanakarin with the understanding that they have not been published else-where and are not currently being submitted for consideration in any other journals. All articles are assessed by specialist in their relevant fields (peer-reviewed), and must be approved by the editorial board before being accepted for publication.
All articles should be typed in either the Thai or English language and bear the following: 1) The title of the article and the author’s name in both Thai and English. 2) The degree and professional title (if applicable) of each author. 3) The name of the institution and department of each author. 4) A short running title in both Thai and English. The articles must be presented with abstracts, no more than 250 words, and a maximum of 5 keywords in both Thai and English. Accompanied diagrams and photographs should be on separate sheets of paper. Photographs may be either colored or black and white prints, but should be of high contrast. Line-drawing should be made in Indian ink or print by laser printer. Types of articles accepted to considered are Literature, Liberal Arts, Interdisciplinary Humanities and Social Sciences, Sociology, Jurisprudence, Education, Political Science, Economics, Anthropology, Archeology, Communication, Environmental Management and Tourism Services.
Citations and References
This journal uses the author-date method of citation; that is the name or surname of the author(s) and the year publication are inserted in the text at the appropriate point. If the name of the author appears as part of narrative, cite only the year of publication in parentheses. Otherwise, place both the name and the year, separated by comma, in parentheses. The page number(s) may be cites as a specific part of a source. All the works cited in text with an author-date citation system must be listed alphabetically in the reference section in APA (American Psychological Association) style under a ‘References’ heading. In case of Thai references, English translation is required after each cited work. Examples of reference in APA style are as follows:

Authors of articles published in Songklanakarin: Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities receive four complementary issues of the journal in which the article is published (in Thailand only). The
complementary issues will be given to the first author only in the case that many authors exits.
