Development of Competency of the Quality Assurance in Pathumwan Institute of Technology

Abstract

Objective: Research has 2 purposes (1) To determine the performance of the quality assurance staffs of Pathumwan Institiute of Technology (2) To upgrade competency of the quality assurance staffs of Pathumwan Institiute of Technology.


Method: This research is an action research. The sample consists 12 of people, such as three executives, and nine staffs from the quality assurance.


Results: The study demonstrated deparment that there are seven keys of performance of the quality assurance staffs of Pathumwan Institute of Technology (1) The quality assurance of education (2) QA in monitoring & evaluation (3) The preparation of reports to track and monitor the storage of care indicator (KPI). (4) The QA evaluation of the academic year (5) QA in evaluation data-base (6) QA in transformative information (7) QA in standards and internal controls in each competency have definitions, and behaviors to evaluate the performance of practitioners of  9 members of the test showed that there were 6 people donot meet the criteria in section 5) and 6) who were training with lectures and demonstration by performance on the need to raise the issue. The performance has been evaluated and this development has resulted in the satisfaction of the executives behind the development of increased than before the development level which is based on the expectations of management.


Conclusion: It was found that the performance of the staffs was increased sex of them had reached to the QA standards and followed the expectations of QA executive, by using workshop training.
