Influence of Personnel’s Competencies Effected to the Public Sector Management Quality Award of Local Government in Northeast Thailand

Abstract

This research was a path of the thesis “Influence Model of Personnel’s Competency Effected to the Public Sector Management Quality Award of Local Government in Northeast Thailand” which aimed to analysis the influence of personnel’s competencies which effected to the public sector management quality award of local government in Northeast Thailand. The sample was 320 local governments of 20 provinces in Northeast Thailand. The instrument was the five rating scale questionnaire with 0.92 of reliability. The statistics were descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis. The research results were found that; The influence of personnel’s competencies which effected to the public sector management quality award of local government in Northeast Thailand by statistical significant at.05 level were Achievement Motivation, Service mind, Teamwork and Expertise with Multiple correlation coefficient (R) =0.747 and forecasting coefficient (R2) = 0.558 and a power to forecast was 55.80%, therefore, the equation of standard score was; Z = 0.410Z1 + 0.313Z2 + 0.188Z5 + 0.100Z3.
