Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study and find out the way to develop physical and internal environmental management of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University using art knowledge : a case study of building 12, Fine Arts. The research is divided into 3 phases. Phase 1 is the study of theory of project evaluation after accession. Phase 2 is the study of physical and environmental characteristics of the case study building. Phase 3 is the study of using a research instrument that is questionnaires. The sample is 100 people. There are 87 Fine Arts students, 4 instructors and 9 building officers. The statistics used in this research are mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The results of this researcher were found into 3 sections. Section 1 the study of classrooms and laboratories’ area showed that all the classrooms have sufficient space for the number of students whereas the space per person in the laboratories have insufficient space for the number of students. Section 2 the physical and environmental characteristics of the case study building can be divided into 4 parts. There are 1) sunlight affected the building to the heat 2) there is less natural wind through the building because the other buildings nearby are the obstacle to release the heat of the building 3) noise pollution and smoke from the massive traffic surrounding the case study building caused the effects to the building. Moreover, the view of the building can be viewed in all directions because there are roads surrounding the building. Section 3 the result of the internal, external physical and environment of the building as overall is in moderate level.
