Abstract

This research aims 1) to study the factors that contribute to depression of high school students in Loei 2) to construct forms for the rehabilitation of  depression of high school students in Loei and 3) to trial and evaluate forms for the rehabilitation depression of high school students in Loei. Research and development process is divided into three phases: Phase one, studying  factors that contribute to depression by using the survey factors with a group of 360 samples, Phase two, interviewing 23 informants regarding the contribution to depression of High School students (stage 1) using 6 experts to examine the feasiblity of the guidelines (stage 2) and Phase three, using 120 informants to evaluate the treatement with the forms to find out the results shown below.


1. Factors contributing to depression of high school students in Loei found the most contributing factor of a family relationship negatively contributing to depression equally -0.223 followed by a family status of students positively influencing equally 0.187 while the least contributing factor was an environment  factor and values ​​of students negatively influencing equally -0.134.


2. The research found 5 forms for the rehabilitation of depression of high school students in Loei: 1) teens’ physical chages  2) priorities in life 3) known around 4) self-regulation of the activities and 5) a relaxation program among peers and teacher advisors every Thursday evening  activities under 2 projects:     1) the community outreach to know and understand parents who had children with depression and  2) a home visiting project to assess the suitability and feasibility of the program on the depression of high school students in Loei, moderately at  gif.latex?\bar{X}= 3.89, an overall result.  


3. Participation in the trial program for the rehabilitation of depressed students found a screening test for depression in adolescents with CES-D score of 12-21 points. When comparing before and after the treatment, it found the depression reduced to 5.12 after the treatment. Assessment to the practical approach of the rehabilitation depression of high school students in Loei highly rated as a whole (gif.latex?\bar{X} = 4.15) while the satisfaction of the project in the community was highly rated at 93.34.
