This study investigated the solid waste management in Non Somboon sub-district administrative organization, Banhad district, Khon Kaen province and analyzed problems relating to the management process as well as the needs of people in the area. Three hundred and eighty three samples were drawn from personnel in Non Somboon sub-district administrative organization and people who live in Non Somboon district, using Taro YamaneI simple random sampling technique. The questionnaire was used to collect data. The obtained data was analyzed for frequency and percentages. The finding was reported in a descriptive manner. The study found that the public has no ways of disposal. The people do not know the policy of disposal of Non Somboon sub-district administrative organization. Moreover, the people misunderstand that waste management is the responsibility of the organization only. However, the people in the area jointly propose ways to solve the problems about solid waste management. The people need more garbage trucks and more the frequency of garbage collection.
