Develop Strategies to Strengthen the Management Efficiency of Phariyattitam School, Department of Education to ASEAN

Abstract

     The research’s objectives were: to study state and issues in administration and to evaluate the strategies in enhancing the effectiveness of administration of the General Education Section of PhraPariyattidhamma School on preparation for ASEAN community. The samples of the study were 509 school directors, teachers, educational officers in which there were 200 monks and 309 people respectively. The research instruments were questionnaires, data analysis using the percentage, mean, frequency, standard deviation, comprising SWOT Analysis in developing strategies in administrating the General Education Section of PhraPariyattidhamma School.

     The research found that : State of administration of the General Education Section of PhraPariyattidhamma School gained the moderate level when considering each aspect. It was found that the directors, teachers, and educational officers of the General Education Section of PhraPariyattidhamma School gained satisfied abilities but needed more development on other aspects. The development of strategies the General Education Section of PhraPariyattidhamma School including seven strategies as follow: 1. Strategic Matter 2. Organizational Administration 3. Construction of Organization System 4. Human Resource 5. Skills, Knowledge, and Competency Aspects 6. Model of Curriculum Administration 7. Shared Norms. The result of strategic evaluation on enhancing the effectiveness of educational administration of the General Education Section of PhraPariyattidhamma School was shown that the evaluation of appropriateness was possibility and advantages regarding to the objective 1-7, Strategic 1-7 and Tactic 1-7 and all measures and indicators of educational administration of the General Education Section of Phra Pariyattidhamma School which should be revised to meet the highest level.
