ห้องเรียนสังคมวิทยาการพัฒนาในโลกที่ขบวนการพัฒนาปะทะกัน

บทคัดย่อ

บทความเรื่อง “ห้องเรียนสังคมวิทยาในโลกที่ขบวนการพัฒนา ปะทะกัน” เป็นการนำเสนอการเผชิญหน้ากันระหว่างโลกวิชาการและ ปรากฏการณ์จริงในประเทศกำลังพัฒนา โดยมีประเด็นสำคัญ 3 ประเด็น คือ แนวคิดการพัฒนาที่ผ่านการสถาปนาเชิงสถาบัน เนื้อหาในส่วนนี้กล่าวถึง ที่มา ความหมาย อุดมการณ์และการสถาปนาความเป็นศาสตร์ รวมทั้งการ ปรับเปลี่ยนเชิงแนวคิดที่เกิดขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่องนับตั้งแต่ช่วง ค.ศ.1960 เป็นต้นมา ปฏิบัติการสร้างแรงกระเพื่อมในการทบทวนการพัฒนา โดยหยิบยกกรณีการเคลื่อนไหวต่างๆ ที่มีขึ้นเพื่อต่อต้านโครงการพัฒนา ของรัฐ อันสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความไม่ลงรอยระหว่างรัฐและทุน ที่ยังเป็น สถาบันหลักในการนำการพัฒนา ขณะที่ชาวบ้านในท้องถิ่นมีปฏิบัติการ หลากหลายที่สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงการเรียกร้องสิทธิในการมีส่วนร่วมในการ กำหนดและสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงในแบบที่ชุมชนมองว่าเป็นการพัฒนาอย่างแท้จริง ทั้งในด้านความหมายและปฏิบัติการการพัฒนา ส่วนสุดท้ายของ บทความกลับมาตั้งคำ ถามถึงห้องเรียนสังคมวิทยาการพัฒนา ในฐานะสิ่งประกอบสร้างของสถาบันการศึกษาว่าควรจะปรับเปลี่ยนไป อย่างไร จึงจะสามารถทำหน้าที่สร้างให้เกิดกระบวนการเรียนรู้ท่ามกลาง ความซับซ้อนของปรากฏการณ์ได้อย่างแท้จริง

The Classroom of Sociology of Developments in Clash of Development Worlds

The purpose of the article is to present the encounter between what is taught in sociology of development classroom and the current reality of development complexity in developing worlds like Thailand. The first part elaborates institutionalization of development concept, its definition and the evolution of ideology as well as the dynamism since 1960s. The second part presents social movement and associated practices countering government's development projects. This requires reflexive thought on development concept. It also reveals the inconsistent development ideology of the state and businesses, both of which direct development path while local communities start to assert themselves and demand the concept and practices of development that are based on public participation. The last part of the paper questions the design of sociology of development course and classroom in order to achieve the true meaning of knowledge in the complex world.
