THE STUDY OF PERCEPTION OF COST OF QUALITY INFLUENCING CORE COMPETENCY OF WANG NAMYEN DAIRY CO-OPERATIVE FOR ENTERING SA KAEO SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study (1) the influences of the perception of cost of quality on the core competency of Wang Namyen Dairy Co-operative for entering Sa Kaeo Special Economic Zone; (2) the level of perception of cost of quality of Wang Namyen Dairy Co-operative for entering Sa Kaeo Special Economic Zone; and (3) the level of core competency of Wang Namyen Dairy Co-operative for entering Sa Kaeo Special Economic Zone. The sample of this study consisted of 288 employees of Wang Namyen Dairy Co-operative, obtained by using self-enumeration. The tool used in research was a questionnaire. Data were statistically analyzed using the percentage, mean, standard deviation and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The research results showed that (1) the perception of cost of quality in the aspects of prevention costs and appraisal costs had significant influences on the core competency of Wang Namyen Dairy Co-operative for entering Sa Kaeo Special Economic Zone at .01 level of statistical significance; (2) the level of perception of the cost of quality of Wang Namyen Dairy Co-operative for entering Sa Kaeo Special Economic Zone was at the high level; and (3) the level of core competency of Wang Namyen Dairy Co-operative for entering Sa Kaeo Special Economic Zone was also at the high level.
