RELATIONSHIPS AMONG PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT, ATTACHMENT, AND SATISFACTION OF TEACHERS ALONG THE CAMBODIA –THAI BORDER

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to develop a model of relationships among perceived organizational context, attachment, and satisfaction of teachers along the Cambodian-Thai border, and to examine its conformity to empirical data. The sample consisted of 820 teachers in 7 provinces from Cambodia -Thai border. Teachers were randomly selected by multi-stage random sampling. Causal modeling involved the use of LISREL.
Results indicated that relationships among perceived organizational context, attachment, and satisfaction of teachers along the Cambodia -Thai border was consistent with the empirical data. Goodness of fit statistics were: chi-square test=45.29, df=33, relative 2=1.37, GFI=.99,AGFI=.98, SRMR=.01, RMSEA=.02 and Power of test=.97. The variables in the proposed model accounted for 81 percent of the total variance of satisfaction of teachers along the Cambodia -Thai border.
In conclusion, perceived organizational context having positive direct effect and indirect effect on satisfaction of teachers by attachment as mediator and attachment having positive direct effect on satisfaction of teachers.
