Abstract

          The objectives of this research are to study the factors affecting job satisfaction to Gen Y, to be guidelines for director and HR to manage the Gen Y staffs and to be the reference for any new researches. The sample group used for making this research was 400 private The result of this research showed that major responders who replied to the questionnaires were females, single status, having educational level of bachelor degree, with the income between Baht 10,001 -20,000, and working experience of 2-5 years. The factors affecting job satisfaction in high level are Cultural and Environmental Working factor and Advance Opportunity factor. While the other factors affecting job satisfaction in average level are Income factor, Benefits factor, Work Life Balance factor, Promoting factor, and Achievement factor. The Hypothesis testing with One-way ANOVA and t-test showed that different gender don’t correlate with job satisfaction to Gen Y, but different status, educational level, income and working experience correlate with job satisfaction to Gen Y at significant implication level of 0.05 The Hypothesis testing with correlation at significant implication level of 0.01 showed that the factor which correlate with job satisfaction to Gen Y the most is Advance Opportunity factor in high level correlation and the least is Work Life Balance factor in average level correlation.
