การพัฒนาหลักสูตรเพื่อส่งเสริมการรู้เท่าทันสื่อ สารสนเทศและดิจิทัลแก่นิสิต ในรายวิชาเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศสำหรับครูประถมศึกษา (Development of a Curriculum Promoting Media, Information and Digital Literacy for Undergraduate Students in Information Technology for Elementary Teacher Course)

Abstract

Technology allows people to easily access medias and information. With technology, people are able change their roles from being receivers to senders of information. In addition, technology facilitates people in accessing public and private services. Therefore, it is important to prepare children for the fast-changing world of technology.  Therefore, the objectives of this research were to develop and examine the effectiveness of a curriculum for promoting media, information, and digital literacy forundergraduate students in primary education. The participants were 30 students, enrolled in Information Technology for Elementary Teacher course during Semester 2 of 2017, selected by simple random sampling.  The instrument used in this research included lesson plans, an MIDL test, and an MIDL test, and a MIDL behavioral assessment form. The research findings were as follows: 1) The curriculum developed consisted of curriculum structure, outcomes, objectives, content, learning activities, instructional medias, and evaluation methods of the curriculum. 2)  The MIDL knowledge of the learners after the course was significantly higher than the knowledge prior to the course at .05 and the number of the learners who developed ‘high level’ of MIDL behaviors increased to 43.33% after the course.
