The case study of Wat Samosorn School is part of the development of educational quality and standard of the schools under the Nonthaburi provincial administrative organization project. The objectives of this research were 1) to study the context of the school, 2) to study the characteristics of activities, materials and the development programs for the school, 3) to study the results, and 4) to study the impact of the school development project. In terms of methodology, this research employs surveys on the basic information of the Wat Samosorn School, including observations and reports on project participation, in accordance with the Educational Institute Development Plan, which covers 2 semesters. The studies concluded that
1) the Wat Samosorn School teaches students from the kindergarten level up to the 9th grade, and with 275 students and 19 teachers – a teacher-to-student ratio of 1:15 – is considered a small school, 2) the school has participated in 4 education institute development programs, which are teachers & executives, curriculum and instruction, administration and quality assurance, and learning environment, 3) there have been 4 dimensions of major changes made with respect to the management and executive systems. These are: management and administrative evaluation systems, internal quality assurance systems, quality assurance system evaluations, and development of curricular standards. The final finding of the paper is that 4) the school now enjoys a beautiful, sanitary, and friendly environment, and the surrounding local community values and collaborates with the school in noticeably higher levels.
