Abstract

          งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความหมายของสิริมงคลจีนตามความเชื่อในศาสตร์ฮวงจุ้ยของชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีนในชุมชนเยาวราชและศึกษาการใช้สิริมงคลจีนที่สะท้อนความเชื่อของชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีนในชุมชนเยาวราช โดยใช้มุมมองตามความเชื่อตามศาสตร์ฮวงจุ้ยที่สะท้อนผ่านสิริมงคลจีนทางที่อยู่อาศัย ใช้วิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากเอกสาร การสัมภาษณ์และการสำรวจรอบชุมชน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลและแสดงผลการวิจัยแบบความเรียง ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีนในชุมชนเยาวราชใช้สิริมงคลจีนทั้งภายนอกและภายในที่อยู่อาศัยตามหลักศาสตร์ฮวงจุ้ย โดยใช้อุปกรณ์ปรับฮวงจุ้ย รูปปั้น ภาพมงคล โคมแขวน โมบาย ป้ายอักษรมงคล วัตถุมงคลและการบูชาเทพเจ้า เพื่อความหมายด้านธุรกิจการค้าและความร่ำรวยเป็นหลัก เนื่องจากชุมชนเยาวราชเป็นแหล่งธุรกิจการค้าที่สำคัญ ทั้งนี้สิริมงคลจีนใช้เพื่อเป็นเครื่องยึดเหนี่ยวจิตใจและสร้างกำลังใจในการดำเนินชีวิต ทำให้เกิดความเชื่อมั่นในการประกอบธุรกิจการค้า และเชื่อว่าสิริมงคลจีนเหล่านั้นจะทำให้เกิดกำไรและโชคลาภในการค้าขาย และทำให้ธุรกิจเจริญรุ่งเรือง รวมถึงขอการปกป้องรักษาและอำนวยพรให้ครอบครัวและคนในชุนชนมีความสุขและปลอดภัย จากการวิจัยในครั้งนี้ทำให้ทราบถึงชาวจีนมีความเชื่อในการให้ความสำคัญต่อการเลือกสิริมงคลจีน และสะท้อนให้เห็นความเชื่อ วิถีการดำรงชีวิตและทัศนคติของคนจีนที่มีการเปรียบเทียบจากคำพ้องเสียง รูปลักษณ์และการแทนด้วยความหมาย รวมถึงระบบสัญลักษณ์ที่มาจากสิ่งมงคล


          This research aimed to study the meaning of Chinese auspiciousness in accordance with Feng Shui Science and the beliefs of Chinese-Thai people in Yaowarat Community, as well as study the utilization of Chinese auspiciousness to reflect the beliefs of Chinese-Thai people in Yaowarat Community by using perspectives about Feng Shui Science as reflected in Chinese auspiciousness regarding residential areas. The study employed a qualitative research method, including interviews. Data was collected from documents and field research. The results of the study were presented using a descriptive approach.


          The results of the study revealed that Chinese-Thai people in Yaowarat Community use Chinese auspiciousness both internally and externally at their residences in accordance with Feng Shui Science. This includes the use of equipment and paraphernalia to adjust Feng Shui such as statues, auspicious images, hanging lanterns, wall hangings, Chinese couplets, and Feng Shui lucky objects, as well as worshipping gods for the purposes of promoting trade and wealth. Yaowarat is an important business center, so Chinese auspiciousness is used as a spiritual anchor and encouragement of living in order to render confidence in operating business. It is believed that Chinese auspiciousness can help assist in generating profits, fortunes and growth in business. It is also believed to protect and bless family members as well as people in the community to be happy and safety. From this research, knowledge of the beliefs of Chinese people can be gained in order to realize the importance of choosing Chinese auspiciousness as reflected through faith, the way of life and the attitudes of Chinese people, compared from homophone, form and replace the meaning, including the use of symbolism through auspicious items.
