Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the Audit Committee and the performance  of companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand this study is an inference research by using descriptive statistics analysis and multiple regression analysis The population used in the study is a listed company in the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Set 50 Index Group during 2014 - 2017, number of 150 companies. The sample group used in the study is a listed company in the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Set 50 Index Group during 2014 - 2017, 57 samples, excluding companies listed in the financial industry group and 93 companies with incomplete qualifications. The results of the study showed that the number of meetings of the Audit Committee had a significant relationship with the performance of listed companies in the Stock Exchange of Thailand significantly. Which can be concluded that if the company has a number of times in the meeting of the audit committee, it will result in the increase of the company's performance And also found that the proportion of independence of the Board of Directors is related in the same direction as the performance of listed companies in the Stock Exchange of Thailand significantly. Which can be concluded that If the company has a large number of independent directors in the structure of the board of directors, the company's operating results will be reduced. This may be because Independent director in proportion too high There is no relationship with the Executive Committee. May help in making investment or other decisions that will increase the value of the company.
