The Journal of the Thai Khadi Research Institute is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (January-June and July - December) with the aim to provide a forum for distribution of original research/academic articles on Thai studies in the field of social science, history, religious, art, and culture.

Scholars, graduate students, and the public are invited to submit research / academic papers as well as academic book reviews for publication. The paper should be written in Thai or English and has not been published or disseminated in any other forms before or is under consideration for publication in another journal.

Research papers should comprise: title; all authors’ names and affiliations, and a complete address and an E-mail address for the corresponding author; abstract and keywords; introduction; research questions; materials and methods; findings; discussion; conclusion; suggestions for implications and / or further research (optional); and references. The research paper, plus tables and figures, should be 15 - 30 pages (A4) in length.

Academic papers should comprise: title; all authors’ names and affiliations, and a complete address and an E-mail address for the corresponding author; abstract and keywords; introduction; content; conclusion; and references. The academic paper, plus tables and figures, should be 15 - 30 pages (A4) in length.

Academic book reviews should comprise: bibliographic citation for the book; summary of book contents; critical assessment of the book’s strengths and weaknesses; description of the book’s relationship to other books on the same topic or to pertinent scholarship in the field. Book reviews should be a minimum of 5 pages (A4).

Abstract and keywords. Thai abstract should be a total of one page (A4) and English abstract 350 words maximum. Three to five pertinent keywords need to be added after the abstract.

References. All references mentioned in the paper should be cited in the “Author-Date” format, consisting of the author’s last name, year of publication and page, for example, (Descola 1994: 23). A reference list at the end of the paper is always arranged alphabetically. All sources are listed by the author’s last name, using the APA (American Psychological Association) citation format. In case of Thai references, title of books, book chapters, articles, thesis, etc. must be translated into English and Romanized according to standards approved by Library of Congress (http://www.loc.gov/catdir/cpso/roman.html).
