This paper proposes concepts on comfort as it applies to childbirth. The instrumentation employed evaluated comfort during childbirth, promotion of comfort and the experiences of the author as a guideline for the care of women during labor and childbirth.
มาวศรี มานุช สุนันทา ศรีมาคำ ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2019-08-31 2019-08-31 29 2 1 11 Family Management: Concept and Implementation Guidelines to Help Families of Children with Chronic Illness https://www.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/tnaph/article/view/213514
Chronic illness is a health problem that needs continual care. Nowadays, the number of children with chronic illness is increasing. Chronic conditions have impacts on children and their families. Families play an important role in the care of their children during their illness. However, families differ in their ability for care of their children during their illness. If the family is not able to manage problems, it will affect the quality of care for their sick children. The Family Management Framework describes family management styles and purposes to assist family members to effectively manage their children with chronic conditions. The purpose of this article is to present the Family Management Framework and how health care providers, especially nurses, can apply this framework to help the families appropriately manage chronic conditions of the children, in the context of each family, for the improvement of quality of life.
พัชรี วัฒนชัย ยุพาภรณ์ ติรไพรวงศ์ ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2019-08-31 2019-08-31 29 2 12 23 Factors Predicting Physical Activity Behaviors Among Grade 4-6 Students in Nongkula Sub-district, Bang Rakam District, Phitsanulok Provinc https://www.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/tnaph/article/view/213519
The purpose of this predictive descriptive research study were to describe the level of physical activity and to determine the predicting factors regarding predisposition, enablement, and reinforcement factors for physical activity behavior among grade 4-6 students in Nongkula Sub-district, Bang Rakam District, Phitsanulok Province. The sample consisted of 350 students from grade 4 to 6. They were selected by proportional stratified random sampling and simple random sampling. Data were collected by questionnaires. The content validity was examined by the Item-Content Validity Index (I-CVI) and yielded a value of .80–1.00. The reliability of the knowledge questionnaire was assessed by KR-20 and obtained a value of .70. The reliability of attitude, self-efficacy towards physical activity, enabling factors, reinforcing factors and physical activity behavior were assessed by Cronbach’s alpha, and achieved values of .70, .70, .71, .71 and .72 respectively. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and stepwise multiple regression with the significance level of .05.

The results showed that the samples had positive physical activity behavior ( =3.70, SD=.673). In addition, stepwise multiple regression analysis revealed that reinforcing factors (β=.41, b=.48, p<.001), gender (β=.22, b=2.70, p<.001), and nutritional status (β=-0.12, b=-2.69, p=.011) accounted for 21.6% of predicting physical activity behaviors among students.

The study suggested that the public health personnel should recommend parents and teachers support continuous physical activity for their children, including the provision of appropriate advice regarding physical activity for children of different gender and nutritional status, designing programs to increase knowledge regarding the benefits of physical activity and continually monitoring nutritional status among students. These activities will lead to improved health of students.
ภัสราพร ทองวัตร นิทรา กิจธีระวุฒิวงษ์ ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2019-08-31 2019-08-31 29 2 24 36 Evaluation of Methamphetamine Addiction Treatment in the Voluntary Drug Treatment System at Tambon Health Promoting Hospitals, Amnat Charoen Province https://www.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/tnaph/article/view/213625
This survey study aimed to evaluate methamphetamine addiction treatment in the voluntary drug treatment system at Tambon Health Promoting Hospitals, Amnat Charoen Province.
