An Evaluation of the School-Based Curriculum in Career and Technology of Banhouyboseun School under Loei Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

 Abstract


            The purpose of this research was to evaluate the school – based curriculum in Career and Technology of Banhouyboseun school by using the CIPP model that consisted of Context, Input, Process and Product. The population of this research consisted of a director, teachers in Career and Technology, experts, students and students’ parents in the academic year 2017. The research instruments were questionnaires, interview, attitude test, and the document record for collecting data. The quantitative analysis were systematically analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The qualitative analysis used content analysis.


            The research finding were as follows: their opinions appropriate at the high level in 4 factors. For input was evaluated at the highest level. The evaluation of 4 factors were as follows:The result of the context evaluation was appropriate at a high level. All items passed an evaluation criteria.


  1. The result of the input evaluation was appropriate at a high level. All items passed an evaluation criteria.

  2. The result of the process evaluation was appropriate at a high level. All items passed an evaluation criteria.

  3. The results of the product found that: (1) the students’ learning achievement passed 70 percent, (2) the students’ desired characteristics passed 70 percent, (3) the students’ attitude in Career and Technology was at a high level, and (4) parents' satisfaction with students was at a high level.
