THE PROBLEMS AND GUIDELINE OF TEACHING MODEL TO ENHANCE TEACHING IN 21st CENTURY SKILLS FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION PROGRAM IN COMPUTER

The purposes of this research were to 1) find the problems of teaching model of professional experience teaching for technical education program in computer and 2) find the guideline of teaching model to enhance teaching in 21st century skills for technical education program in computer. The sample of this research were twelve experts, selected by purposive sampling by determination of qualification. Tools used in this research were the questionnaire for finding the experts’ opinions on the problem issues and the solutions for development of teaching model. The questionnaire was divided into three parts, i.e. 1) the preparation before teaching 2) the practice of teaching and 3) the teaching in 21st century skills for technical education program in computer. The guideline of teaching model was established by researcher with synthesis of researches related to MIAP learning model and teaching plans of department of computer education, Faculty of Technical Education at King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok.
The results of the research showed that the problems of teaching model of professional experience teaching for technical education program in computer was at high level ( = 3.54, S.D. = 0.75), which means that the experts’ opinions were consistent. The problems found were consecutively as follows, 1) the teaching in 21st century skills for technical education program in computer ( = 3.95, S.D. = 0.87), 2) the practice of teaching (
= 3.51, S.D. = 0.68) and 3) the preparation before teaching (
= 3.29, S.D. = 0.72) And finally, from issues found that the researcher has developed the guideline of MIAPCED teaching model to enhance teaching in 21st century skills for technical education program in computer for planning and management the process of practice professional experience teaching in the future.
