Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the problem and propose the effective guidelines to promote research management system according to the organization strategy. The research methods consist of: the in-depth interviews with outside research leaders, research fund resources administrators, and focus group discussions for Directors of Specialized Research Center, and the investigation for opinions from affiliated instructors, researchers, and research coordinators.


The results found that the Researcher development is still a problem at the time of research, knowledge and experience, research mentor system, and research grants. These should be encouraged; education to research, effective researcher selection, and mentor researcher system, initial research funding, and qualitative researcher training. The Specialized Research Center development found that the problem about ambiguity of management criteria, management structure, budget support, and annual evaluation should be assessed and improved. In case of, the Research Cooperation network development should support for sharing information or research resources, create a variety of research network, promote joint research with other institutions, and creating a new research network. The scientific laboratory development faced budget problems and self-development. The constant income generation and recruiting support staff should be supported. Finally, the Research Utilization; the organization should be encouraged to set policy, to priorities for research, and to create a driving mechanism with stakeholders from research. It can also be used to research the benefits are substantial.
