Abstract

The objective of this research were to 1) study guidelines for the development of jewelry from Lao rags to create additional value according to the opinions of jewelry experts. 2) study the needs of consumers in Thailand regarding jewelry from Lao rags to increase the value of the products. 3) Develop and create jewelry that comes from the needs of consumers in Thailand. Which is a mixed study between qualitative research and quantitative research, The tools used in the research were divided into semi-structured interview and questionnaires. 3 sample quality groups that are informants: 1) 2 executives or jewelry experts 2) 1 jewelry manufacturer. For a sample of quantitative research, 400 consumers are interested in artificial jewelry in Thailand. By using frequency analysis, percentage, mean, standard deviation In addition, there is a comparison of the needs of consumers to bring the results used in the development of jewelry. In order to meet the needs of consumers By using data analysis with statistics comparing T-test and One Way ANOVA. The results showed that:


Qualitative results found that creating a unique and unique identity that reflects the needs of the market will most likely make the jewelry development a success. For quantitative studies, it was found that The demand for jewelry of consumers in Thailand is overall at a high level (gif.latex?\bar{X}= 4.45; SD. = 0.16). The results of the comparison of differences found that by combining consumers with an ages, average monthly income, Marital status, domicile, purchase frequency, cost, purpose and type of jewelry Have different needs at statistical significance level of 0.05.
