THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE 5 ETHIC TOURISM ROUTES IN ARANYAPRATHET DISTRICT SA KAEW PROVINCE

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to (1) study the context of tourism management in Ban Dan Subdistrict and Khlong Nam Sai Subdistrict Aranyaprathet District, Sa Kaew Province (2) The development of the 5 ethic tourism routes in Aranyaprathet District, Sa Kaew Province. There were collected data by studying documents and In-depth interviews include, executives of Local government organization, peoples in community and small community enterprise (SMEs) by focus group and created ethic tourism routes in Ban Dan Subdistrict and Khlong Nam Sai Subdistrict Aranyaprathet District Sa Kaew Province with the participation of local communities The research found that Ban Dan and Khlong Nam Sai sub-districts Aranyaprathet District. These has a history and culture about 5 ethnic consisting of Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, China and Thai-Yo create a community identity to welcome tourists with outstanding tourism resources suitable as a tourist destination due to the combination of natural and cultural destination that are appropriate to able to develop into a tourism model in 5 ethic tourism routes including, one-day trip for Ban Dan Subdistrict and one-day trip for Khlong Nam Sai. The result of the activity try out with 32 persons. It was found that the participants had knowledge and understanding about the value of tourism resources in the area. Including the participation in the development of tourist attractions.
